Tax Specialist
Robert DiGiovanna, EA

Robert DiGiovanna has been a Tax Preparer and Accountant for over thirty years.  In his capacity, he was responsible for preparing individual, business, and fiduciary income tax returns for diverse clientele throughout the United States. As an Enrolled Agent, licensed in all 50 states to represent any taxpayer in any matter involving federal taxes..

He is a graduate of Stony Brook University with bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from Adelphi University.

Bob is a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers. In addition to the rigorous tax-law exams that must be passed, and the application process, and stringent background check conducted by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, to be admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service, the IRS requires enrolled agents to complete 72 hours of continuing education, reported every three years, to maintain their Enrolled Agent status. NATP members are held to a higher standard. Because of the expertise in tax law that is required to become an Enrolled Agent, and the requirements to maintain their license, there are only about 50,000 Enrolled Agents in America.
